Specialists from libraries, archives and museums of Kuzbass joined the interregional videoconference of the Presidential Library

At the initiative of the Kemerovo Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Fedorov Kuzbass State Scientific Library an interregional video conference "Siege of Leningrad. Reflections on heroism and tragedy" was held at the Presidential Library. The event was dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the complete liberation of Leningrad from the Nazi siege. Participation in the conference completed a series of thematic events at the Fedorov Kuzbass State Scientific Library.

Employees of archives, museums and libraries from Chelyabinsk, Sverdlovsk, Novosibirsk, Kemerovo Regions, as well as Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) addressed the audience with reports and presentations. Among the listeners are representatives of regions invited by regional centers and remote access centers of the Presidential Library.

The moderator was the Deputy Director of the Department for Scientific and Educational Work - Head of the Department of Scientific Expertise of the Presidential Library Foundation Alexey Voronovich. The participants were welcomed by Vera Nikulina, director of the Fedorov State Scientific Library of Kuzbass.

The Presidential Library's portal features the collection Defence and Siege of Leningrad, which contains historical documents, periodicals, diaries of residents of the undefeated city and other materials.
