The Penza Regional Center of the Presidential Library summed up the results of a quiz dedicated to the events of the Russo-Japanese War

The Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Lermontov Penza Regional Library summed up the results of the web quest “Russo-Japanese: the war beyond the horizon”.

The webquest participants had to find the necessary information in issues of the illustrated magazine “Chronicle of the War with Japan” as well as in albums, monographs, memoirs, materials from virtual exhibitions and museums. The quiz questions contained links to sources from the Presidential Library's portal and the Penza Electronic Library.

The winners were Yulia Grishina from Tambov and Valentina Martyshkina from the village of Machkasy in Penza Region. They were sent diplomas and books. The winners received a certificate of completion of the webquest.

The Presidential Library's portal features the collection Russo-Japanese War 1904–1905. It includes research, official documents, memoirs, journalism, periodicals, albums, postcards, newsreels and other archival materials.
