28 May 2024

On May 28, 2024, the first regional seminar for specialists from the remote access centers of the Presidential Library took place in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The event brought together employees of regional libraries and government agencies, including those from remote northern areas such as Anabar, Allaikhovsky, and Even-Bytantaysky.

It should be noted that there are over 1,600 remote access centers for the Presidential Library located in Russia and other countries. These centers allow visitors to explore the vast collection of digital resources, which includes hundreds of thousands of rare archive documents that reflect the history and cultural heritage of our country. Participants can also take part in various projects organized by the centers, which are located within national libraries and Rossotrudnichestvo offices.

On the portal of the Presidential Library, users can access the collection Sakha (Yakutia) Republic: Pages of History. This collection includes research, essays, reference, and archival materials that cover various aspects of the region's development throughout different historical periods.
