Kalinka Ensemble presented Russian folk dances to Chinese residents

A concert by the Filippov Kalinka Folk Children's Choreographic Ensemble took place at the Russian House in Beijing. The performers presented a bright program of Russian folk dances to the audience.

This event was part of the 10th International Youth Week of Cultural and Artistic Exchanges, "Cheerful Beijing", organized by the Beijing People's Friendship Society. The troupe performed in a new composition for the first time in China and showcased their skills on the stage of the Youth Scientific and Cultural Exchange Center of the Song Qingling Foundation.

Local residents, including Russian compatriots residing in Beijing, attended the performance. The audience greeted the artists with great enthusiasm.

The center for remote access to information resources of the Presidential Library, which was opened in 2010 at the Russian House in Beijing, allows its visitors to explore the diverse collections of the library's electronic collections today.

The collection Russian Language from the library's digital archive is of particular interest to visitors to the Russian Cultural Center. It contains more than 1,100 rare archival documents, including manuscripts, historical texts, archival records, scientific papers, dictionaries, encyclopedias, textbooks, and more.

Additionally, guests of the Russian House can explore materials about the history of relations between Russia and China through the library's online collection Russia - China: From the History of Relations.
