Penza Regional Center of Presidential Library presented exhibition "Russian Literature: the XX century"

The exhibition Russian Literature: the XX Century has been opened at the Regional Center of the Presidential Library, which is based on the Lermontov Penza Regional Library. The exhibition is dedicated to the lives and works of famous writers, including Vasily Shukshin, Viktor Astafyev, Yuri Bondarev, Boris Vasiliev, Nikolai Ostrovsky, Nikolai Chukovsky, and Andrei Platonov.

The exhibition features materials from the Penza Regional Lermontov Library. It showcases the works of writers, who constitute the golden collection of Soviet literature. Additionally, it includes literary studies and publications with autographs.

The exhibition is accompanied by an electronic presentation, which allows visitors to access additional information by scanning QR codes that link to relevant sources from the Presidential Library, the National Electronic Library (NEL), and the "Kultura.RF" portal.

Natalia Arzamastseva, a specialist from the Penza Regional Center of the Presidential Library, gave a talk about the work of local writers. Additionally, in the Presidential Library's electronic reading room, visitors had the opportunity to view a collection of postcards titled Shukshin Vasiliy (1979).

The Penza Region: Pages of History collection is also available on the Presidential Library's portal. This collection includes archival documents, essays, research papers, statistics, and other materials that cover various aspects of the region's history over different time periods.
