Students of Ural Pedagogical University participated in "History with Presidential Library" project

On October 24, 2024, students of the Institute of Social Sciences at the Ural State Pedagogical University participated in a training session as part of the "History with Presidential Library" project at the Regional Center of the Presidential Library, based on Belinsky Sverdlovsk Regional Universal Scientific Library.

This initiative is implemented in accordance with Presidential Decree No. 314 of May 8, 2024 on the approval of the foundations of state policy in the field of historical education in Russia.

Experts from the Regional Center provided students with information about the resources available at the Presidential Library and introduced them to how they can use materials from its portal in their educational activities.

These skills will be valuable for the students as they conduct educational sessions in Yekaterinburg schools in 2025.

The collection Sverdlovsk Region: Pages of History is available on the Presidential Library's portal. It contains statistical materials, research papers, essays, and photographs from the 19th and early 20th centuries, highlighting various aspects of the region's development.
