Educational event in Penza dedicated to Russian poet Alexei Koltsov

The specialists of the Regional Center of the Presidential Library, based on the Lermontov Penza Regional Library, organized an educational event dedicated to the Russian poet Alexei Koltsov for students of school No. 68 with an in-depth study of computer science.

The students were told about Koltsov's life and works, and they saw an excerpt from a film about him. In addition, they were presented with thematic materials on the Presidential Library's portal, including the publication Russian Nuggets in Biographies and Images by A. I. Yatsimirsky (1910).

During the event, the children also visited the book exhibition Golden Names for All Time at the Regional Center for Rare Documents and Book Monuments of the Lermontov Penza Regional Library. There, they saw lifetime editions of poems by Alexei Koltsov and collections that were published thanks to the efforts of Vissarion Belinsky.

The collection Penza Region: Pages of History is also available on the Presidential Library's portal. It contains archival documents, essays, research, statistics, and other materials about the region's history.
