Russian Philological School 2024 completed its work in Mongolia
A large-scale educational project, Russian Philological School 2024, organized by Rossotrudnichestvo and the Russian House in Ulaanbaatar in collaboration with Korolenko Glazovsky State Engineering and Pedagogical University, has been successfully completed.
The project aimed to improve the teaching of Russian language in Mongolia and develop a modern textbook for Mongolian schoolchildren.
The project involved teachers and senior students who were preparing to become teachers. Over the course of three days, participants worked on drafting a new Russian language textbook for Mongolian schools. At the final stage, they presented and defended their developed projects.
The electronic reading room of the Presidential Library, which was opened in 2015 in the Russian House in Ulan Bator, now allows its visitors to explore the entire range of collections in the library's holdings. In 2018, another electronic reading room was opened at the Mongolian Post-Graduate University.
Visitors to the Russian Science and Culture Center will be interested in the Russian Language collection from the Presidential Library's electronic holdings. This collection contains more than 1,100 rare archival documents, including manuscripts, examples of Russian writing, archives, scientific works, dictionaries, encyclopedias, textbooks, and more.
Guests at the Russian House can also learn about materials on Russian-Mongolian relations that are available in the Presidential Library's online collection Russia – Mongolia: the History of Relations.
