Documentary about Nikolai Danilevsky presented at Crimean Regional Center of Presidential Library

Specialists from the Crimean Regional Center of the Presidential Library based on the Franco Crimean Republican Universal Scientific Library presented a documentary film called Danilevsky: The Path of Russia as part of a series of events celebrating the birthday of Russian philosopher, sociologist and biologist Nikolai Danilevsky.

The event was attended by high school students from Simferopol School No. 24, which has a focus on foreign languages, as well as students from the Taurida Academy at the Vernadsky Crimean Federal University. Readers and guests from the library also attended.

During the event, there was a creative meeting with Sergey Strelnikov, an Honored Worker of Culture of Crimea and member of the Russian Union of Designers. Strelnikov played the main role in the documentary and shared his thoughts on the film.

The students were also introduced to the thematic resources of the Presidential Library, including its collection Nikolay Danilevsky (1822-1885).

The collection Republic of Crimea: Pages of History is presented on the portal of the Presidential Library and contains archival documents, research, essays, photographs, and other materials that cover various aspects of the peninsula's development from ancient times to the beginning of the 20th century.
