Workshop on working with Presidential Library Collection held for librarians of Ryazan region

On December 6th, 2024, Marina Tyabina, Head of the Regional Centre of the Presidential Library based on the Gorky Ryazan Regional Universal Scientific Library, hosted a workshop for library professionals on working with the Presidential Library collection.

The event was held within the framework of a meeting of directors of state, municipal, university, and school libraries in Ryazan region to plan activities for 2025. Marina Alexandrovna shared methods for effectively using the Presidential Library's resources and discussed the features of their electronic reading room, as well as the possibilities for accessing the institution's collection and digitized materials.

At the end of the event, the participants emphasized the significance of such meetings for exchanging experience and expressed gratitude to Marina Tyabina for her valuable recommendations that would help them improve the quality of their services. They also discussed ways for future collaboration.

According to organizers, the workshop served as a platform for exploring new ideas and initiatives to enhance library services.

The collection Ryazan Region: Pages of History is available on the Presidential Library portal and includes archival documents, research papers, essays, statistics, references, maps, and audio-visual materials covering various aspects of regional development.
