Sixteen international teachers and fifteen teaching teams from different countries, including Germany, France, Serbia, China, Vietnam, Mozambique, Angola, Egypt, the UAE, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan, reached the final stage of the competition.
At the award ceremony for the winners of the international competition, the Director General of the Presidential Library, Yuri Nosov, sent a welcoming note. He noted that the competition provides teachers and educators with an opportunity to showcase their skills, exchange experiences, and learn about the best teaching practices in learning Russian abroad.
The Presidential Library and the Ministry of Education are actively collaborating to promote educational and awareness-raising initiatives. These initiatives aim to create a unified information space on the history of Russian statehood, strengthen spiritual and moral values among young people, preserve historical memory, and combat the falsification of history.
This year, with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the Presidential Library hosted a competition for pedagogical projects titled The Future of the Fatherland in the Hands of Teacher for the second time. The competition received a large number of entries from various regions of Russia, including those from reunified areas.
Electronic reading rooms of the Presidential Library have been established in Russia and abroad, providing users with access not only to a unique collection of documents but also the opportunity to participate in library events.
The utilization of documents from the Presidential Library's collection in educational projects is significant. Internet links (QR codes) leading to information resources from the Presidential Library have been incorporated into unified history textbooks for students in grades 10-11, and this experience has proven successful and is now being extended to other educational materials.
In addition, the Presidential Library and the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation collaborate in the field of information exchange and expert work, as well as implementing scientific and other socially significant projects.
The Presidential Library will continue to enhance its cooperation with the Center for International Cooperation for the benefit of historical education and the advancement of the Russian educational system.
