Trans-Baikal Regional Center of Presidential Library joined inter-regional quiz "The Siege of Leningrad"

Specialists from the Regional Center of the Presidential Library, based at the Pushkin Trans-Baikal Regional Universal Scientific Library, organized an interregional historical quiz called The Siege of Leningrad for students of grades 8-10 from school No. 46 in Chita.

This event was initiated by the Regional Center of the Presidential Library, which is part of the Domozhakov National Library.

During the six rounds of the game, which varied in difficulty, the students recalled facts about military operations on the Leningrad Front, heroes of the Battle of Leningrad, and life during the siege of the city. QR codes that led to digitized resources from the Presidential Library collection helped participants answer some questions, allowing high school students to learn how to search for information on the library's portal.

The Presidential Library's portal presents the collection Defence and Siege of Leningrad, which includes memories of witnesses to those terrible days, as well as film and photo chronicles, official documents, personal archive materials, periodicals, and more.
