2 February 2025

On January 27, 2025, experts from the Regional Center of the Presidential Library, based at the Belinsky Sverdlovsk Regional Universal Scientific Library, presented a book exhibition titled Breakthrough of the Siege and reviewed materials from the Presidential Library's collection on Defence and Siege of Leningrad. The event was attended by students from Yekaterinburg Grishina Lyceum No. 110.

To prepare the students for their project presentations on the topic "Siege of Leningrad," important issues were discussed based on materials from the Presidential Library. These included Siege Bread, Russian Naval Affairs During the Great Patriotic War, Tsarskoe Selo During the Siege of Leningrad, and Peter and Paul Fortress. The documents and videos presented helped the students choose a direction for their research.

The collection Sverdlovsk Region: Pages of History is now available on the Presidential Library's portal. It contains a variety of materials, including statistics, studies, essays, and photographs from the 19th and early 20th centuries that cover various aspects of the region's history.
