
Artek Days held in Tajikistan
On March 4 and 5, 2025, the Artek Days, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the International Children's Center, were held at the Russian House in Dushanbe. The participants were schoolchildren from Tajikistan. Events held in different countries of the world were dedicated to this anniversary date.
The Artek Days in Tajikistan were opened by the head of the Russian House in Dushanbe, Andrey Patrushev. The Deputy Director for Legal and Organizational Affairs of the Artek International Children's Center, Raisa Panchenko, welcomed the audience.
The students were told about the conditions of the trip to Artek, the history and modern projects of the legendary center. The students took part in various master classes: for weaving bracelets, painting nesting dolls, creating jewelry and Artek souvenirs using 3D pens. Many participants admitted that they make crafts especially for their mothers, because this is a great gift for March 8th.
The Artek Days program also included an educational block for teachers on organizing children's leisure and parenting methods developed by specialists from the international children's Center.
The electronic reading room of the Presidential Library, opened in 2011 on the basis of the Russian House in Dushanbe, today allows its guests to get acquainted with all the diverse collections of the electronic library fund.
Russian Russian House in Dushanbe visitors will be interested in the collection Russian language from the electronic fund of the Presidential Library. It includes more than 1,100 items of rare archival documents, including manuscripts, monuments of Russian writing, archival affairs, scientific papers, dictionaries, reference books, textbooks and much more.
Guests of the Russian House in Dushanbe can also get acquainted with the collection of the Presidential Library Tajikistan: geography, ethnography, history. It includes geographical sketches and ethnographic studies of the period when Tajikistan became part of the Russian Empire, as well as photographs and newsreel fragments dedicated to the Pamir expeditions of the 20-30s of the last century.
