Educational event at Penza Regional Centre of Presidential Library dedicated to healthy lifestyle

Specialists of the Presidential Library Regional Centre based on the M. Lermontov Penza Regional Library organised an educational event for the pupils of the summer camp at Lyceum No. 73. It was devoted to healthy lifestyle.

During the cognitive game the children learnt about how people strengthened their immunity in the olden days. Materials from the Presidential Library helped the pupils to cope with the tasks of the intellectual competition, tricky riddles and puzzles.

The story about proper nutrition, treatment of diseases and the rich experience of our ancestors in this area aroused special interest among the pupils. In the format of a game, the children tried to determine which products have a favourable effect on the body and strengthen health.

The children also had to guess the names of ancient musical instruments by their sound. In addition, the pupils sang cheerful ditties about a healthy lifestyle. Folklore lovers can find such compositions in the collection Russian Folk Ditties (1937) on the Presidential Library's portal.

The collection Penza region: Pages of History is also available on the Presidential Library's portal. It includes archival documents, essays, studies, statistical and other materials covering various aspects of the region's development in different historical periods.
