Presidential Library – participant of annual International Nevsky Forum

The Presidential Library is taking part in the IX International Nevsky Forum "Russia in a Multipolar World: Politics, Economy, Education". The event, organised by the North-West Institute of Management of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration, takes place from 26 to 27 June 2025 in the Mariinsky Palace.

The discussion platform of international level gathered representatives of state and local authorities, members of the scientific and expert community, representatives of profile organisations and public associations of the subjects of the Russian Federation, as well as representatives of partner universities and organisations from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, India, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Myanmar, Serbia, Slovakia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Uruguay and other countries.

From the Presidential Library Igor Solonko, Director of the Department for Educational Work, takes part in the Forum events.

As part of the main day of the forum on June 27, 2025, a plenary session titled "Public Administration, Society, and Education in the Context of Technological Revolution 5.0" will take place. The following speakers have been invited to participate: Sergey Glazyev, State Secretary of the Union State; Sergey Boyarsky, Deputy of the State Duma and Chairman of the Committee on Information Policy, Information Technology, and Communications; Vice President of the Russian Academy of Sciences and Rector of Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University; Andrey Rudskoy; Vice-Governor of Saint Petersburg and Head of the Administration of the Governor; and Valery Moskalenko.. Petersburg-Kirill Polyakov, First Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Science and Higher Education, Irina Ganus, Plenipotentiary Representative of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation - Mikhail Krotov, Deputy Executive Secretary of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly, Mikhail Kalmykov, First Deputy Director General of TASS, Rector of St. Petersburg-St. Petersburg University of Industrial Technologies and Design, Chairman of the Council of Rectors of St. Petersburg universities - Alexey Demidov, Rector of St. Petersburg and Leningrad region-St. Petersburg State University of Trade Unions for Humanities, Deputy Chairman of St. Petersburg Trade Union University - Alexander Zapesotsky, St. Petersburg branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Slovak politician and head of the political party DOMOV Pavol Slota, and others.

The forum will also host international conferences, scientific sections, discussions with representatives of government, business and expert community, signing of agreements with partners, presentation of monographs, journals and printed publications of the Presidential Academy in St. Petersburg. Authoritative speakers, discussions, and exchange of opinions are planned in order to develop practice-oriented proposals for Russia's development in the context of new global challenges and the formation of a multipolar world.

Since 2014, the Presidential Library has been fruitfully cooperating with the North-West Institute of Management of the Russian Academy of National Economy and Public Administration. For several years the Nevsky Forum has been held at the Presidential Library. In 2023 within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum a cooperation agreement was signed between the Presidential Library and RANEPA St. Petersburg. Students and teachers of the institute use information resources of the Presidential Library, joint work on the preparation of a textbook for future civil servants continues. The Presidential Library's electronic collections were enriched with unique books from the Great Patriotic War period. Now these editions are available on the library portal from anywhere in the world.
