Sergey Miroshnichenko, documentary filmmaker, visited the Presidential Library

Renowned documentary filmmaker S. V. Miroshnichenko, praised the work and the development of the Presidential Library as a multi-national informational and educational center. Having visited September 28, 2012 the electronic reading room, exhibition halls, having met with Director General of the Presidential Library, A. P. Vershinin, the stage director stated the importance of research, educational and other projects of the Presidential Library and his willingness to realize joint projects.

S. V. Miroshnichenko stressed: "The theme of "The Russian people," which you are researching throughout 2012, is quite near my heart. The visit to the Presidential Library gave me the new thinking, maybe these ideas will grow into joint projects. "

Documentary filmmaker Sergey V. Miroshnichenko is author of dozens of films, known in our country and abroad, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, member of the Russian Television Academy, winner of the State Prize of Russia, Secretary of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia, professor. He also is the winner of "Nike", of "Taffy", of "Emmy" grand prix of the American Television Academy. Among his works are: "Born in the USSR", "Georgiy Zhzhyonov. Russian Cross," "Solzhenitsyn. Life by the principles of truth," and many others.

Sergey Miroshnichenko is member of the Council for Culture and Arts under the President of the Russian Federation.
