US National Constitution Center is interested in cooperation with the Presidential Library
The Presidential Library and the US National Constitution Centre are interested in cooperation development. There have been held talks with the Center’s CEO, Jeffrey Rosen in order to discuss particular areas of collaboration. It is planned that in the framework of cooperation will be held a joint conference on constitutionalism and statehood in Russia and the United States. There will be discussed the relationship between the countries since the establishment of relations during the Civil War in the United States and throughout the period of diplomatic relations.
One of the main activities of the U.S. Constitution Center is the holding of open conferences with the participation of well-known scientists, educators and scholars; the events are broadcast on the Internet. Holding open video lectures - educational online lectures broadcast on the website – in order to attract the attention of pupils and students to important issues of Russian statehood is also one of the activities of the Presidential Library. Traditionally, the lectures are attended by famous teachers, scientists, scholars and statesmen. There is an interactive communication between Internet users and lecturers.
Cooperation, exchange of information is important for institutions of both countries. As noted Jeffrey Rosen, a joint conference will enable the exchange of experiences, knowledge and ideas in order to attract young people's attention to the important dates in the history of Russia and the United States.
