The best methodical developments in the field of teaching in the Russian language will be introduced to the teachers from CIS countries

In September, teachers in Moldova, Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in the Russian Centers of Science and Culture will get familiar with the best methodological guidance works-winners of the contest of the best pedagogical projects popularizing the Russian language, Russian culture and education in Russian language in the CIS countries.

The first of the series of seminars will be held on September 15, 2017, at the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Chisinau (Republic of Moldova) and then the best projects and their authors will be presented on September 18 in Tashkent (Republic of Uzbekistan) and on September 20 at the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Astana (The Republic of Kazakhstan).

The presentation of the projects will become part of a large-scale work on sharing experiences, in which more than 100 teachers from 11 CIS countries and the near abroad participated by submitting their works in three nominations: “Russian as a Second Language,” “Russian Literature as a Foreign,” “An extracurricular event.”

“We selected the projects-winners of onsite stage of competition for that presentation, — one of the organizers of the competition and a jury member professor D. N. Zhatkin says. — At the same time, the priority was given to the solutions, based on the innovative teaching methods use, including computer technologies and design elements. The main thing is that all projects, with which teachers from CIS countries will get acquainted during the presentations are real, approved projects motivating foreigners to learn Russian and get familiar with Russian culture. They have an absolute methodological value and speak of the high potential of the contestants, their enthusiasm and the aspiration to share knowledge about the Russian language, culture and literature.”

There is an electronic collection Russian language on the Presidential Library website. The collection includes the manuscripts and publications of monuments of Russian writing, archival cases, scientific works (including dissertations and abstracts of dissertations), dictionaries and reference books, the textbooks of various types and levels. Apart from scientific, educational community and linguists, a digital collection on “Russian language” is of interest of a wide range of users who love and appreciate it.
