Regional meeting in the Ural Federal District

Within the framework of the work of the X All-Russian Forum "Electronic Government - a Modern Mechanism for the Management of the Region" and the specialized exhibition INFOTECH-2017 (Tyumen), held on September 13-15, 2017 there took place a meeting of the Presidential Library’s partners in the Ural Federal District, on which base the centers for remote access to the resources of the Presidential Library are functioning or considering their discovery in the future. The event was attended by 62 representatives of all the entities that make up the Ural Federal District, including the ministers of culture, deputy heads of municipalities, chairmen of committees and departments of culture, directors of the departments of culture, education and information technologies, heads of the regional centers of the Presidential Library and library complexes, and representatives of cultural and educational systems. In accordance with the plan of the event, a plenary meeting was held on September 13 in the "President" hall of the Tyumen Technopark.

The Governor of the Tyumen region V. V. Yakushev, the Deputy Chairman of the Regional Duma V. A. Rein, the Federal Inspector for the Tyumen region A. I. Rutsinsky, as well as the Deputy Minister of Culture of the Sverdlovsk region G. Y. Golovin, the First Deputy the Minister of Culture of the Chelyabinsk region G. V. Tsukerman, and the Head of the Department of Culture of the Kurgan region, V. P. Babin. During the plenary meeting, the partners of the Presidential Library made reports on the results achieved in the framework of cooperation with the Presidential Library.

On September 14, the meeting participants got acquainted with the experience of using the resources of the Presidential Library in the educational institutions of the city of Yalutorovsk and Zavodoukovskiy urban district. In the Yalutorovskaya school № 4 the delegation got familiar with the experience of the project of a multifunctional audience with access to the information resources of the Presidential Library, established according to the Concept of the development of school information and library centers approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. In addition, in Yalutorovsk the participants of the meeting were presented the "Cultural Initiative" play prepared in the framework of the joint project of the Tyumen State Institute of Culture and the Tyumen branch of the Presidential Library, which tells about the resources of the Presidential Library and promotes the formation of love for reading among the pupils of primary classes.

In Zavodoukovskaya secondary school № 2 the delegation got familiar with the experience of integrating the resources of the Presidential Library into the educational process, as well as with successful projects and technologies that contribute to the formation of information culture among schoolchildren.

On September 15, at the D. I. Mendeleev Tyumen Regional Scientific Library at the end of the meeting was held a roundtable, in which employees of the head office in Saint-Petersburg took part in video conference calls. The participants of the round table expressed the opinion that the experience of interdepartmental interaction of the Tyumen branch of the Presidential Library should be extended to the territories of the UrFD subjects.

In the framework of informal communication, negotiations were held with colleagues from all subjects of the Urals Federal District, which will help to expand cooperation with the cultural and educational institutions of the region.
