Location: From a private collection. - Souvenir badge "VN Volkov" from the series "The first Soviet cosmonauts" is dedicated to the cosmonaut, twice Hero of the Soviet Union, Vladislav Nikolaevich Volkov. The first interplanetary flight of V. Volkov took place on October 12, 1969 on board the Soyuz-7 spacecraft with A. Filipchenko and B. Gorbatko in the crew. On June 6, 1971, the Soyuz-11 spacecraft was launched with V. Volkov, G. Dobrovolsky and V. Patsayev on board. On the night of June 30, a premature opening of the ventilating valve took place and all air was strained. The crew died. On June 30, the pilots-cosmonauts were posthumously awarded the title of Heroes of the Soviet Union .
