[Monument to VI Lenin]" depicts a monument to Lenin established on November 7, 1926 in the square near the Finland Station. The authors are sculptor SA Evseev, architects VA Shchuko, VG Gelfrich. Until 1924, the area was called the "Square of the Finland Station". April 25, 1924 was renamed the "Square comrade Lenin" in memory of the arrival of VI Lenin on April 3 (16), 1917 from emigration and his speech before the workers of Petrograd.
