Kazimir Malevich is one of the leaders of the Russian avant-garde, the founder of Suprematism. He studied at the Kiev Drawing School (1894-1896), visited the studio of F. I. Rerberg in Moscow (1906-1910). Member of the Art Society "Union of Youth" (since 1913). The founder of the association of avant-garde artists "Supremus" (1915-1916) and the artistic association "Approvers of New Art" (1920s). Member of the Commission for the Protection of Artistic Values of Art and Antiquities, Commissioner for the Protection of Values of the Kremlin, Head of the Workshop for the Study of the New Art of Suprematism in the State Free Art and Training Workshops, Director of the State Institute of Artistic Culture in Leningrad (1924-1926), in 1929. - People's Commissar of the Fine Arts Department of the People's Commissariat of Education of the RSFSR. He taught at the Vitebsk Folk Art School and Kiev Art Institute. In 1932 - the head of the Experimental Laboratory in the Russian Museum. The participant of exhibitions since 1907: the 14th exhibition of the Moscow Association of Artists (1907), the exhibition of the Knave of Diamonds (1910), the exhibition of the Moscow Salon Society (1911), the exhibition of the Union of Youth art society, the futuristic exhibition "Tram V "in Petrograd (1915)," The last futuristic exhibition of paintings "0.10" (1915-1916), solo exhibitions (1919-1930-ies.), etc.
