Russian North project launched in Egypt

Short Film Day held in Tajikistan
On January 17, 2022 schoolchildren from Sughd Region (Republic of Tajikistan) joined the All-Russian campaign "Short Film Day - 2021". The meeting was held at the Russian House in Khujand. School students watched fascinating programs of short films: "Under the clouds", "A Friend", "Sleeve case", "Not Ivan, or How to tame a hero".
A two-volume book dedicated to Fyodor Dostoevsky published in Turkey
The Turkish publishing house Hece Yayinlary published a two-volume Dostoevsky: Special Edition to mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of Fyodor Dostoevsky. It features numerous facts of the writer's biography, some of his works, studies of the influence of Dostoevsky's work on world literature.

Exhibition to mark the 200th anniversary of Nikolai Nekrasov opened in Minsk
The Yanka Kupala Central Library in Minsk opened the exhibition “Nekrasov. Three rivers" from the collections of the Nekrasov State Literary and Memorial Museum-Reserve "Karabikha (Yaroslavl Region). The exposition has been organized by the Russian House in Minsk together with the Yanka Kupala Central Library in honor of the 200th anniversary of Nikolai Nekrasov.
Russian Cinema Week in Beijing
From December 22-26, the Russian House in Beijing hosted a series of film screenings "Week of Russian Cinema: Xiamen-202". This year, new Russian films are screened for the third time at one of China's oldest and most prestigious film festivals, The Golden Rooster, in Xiamen. For the first time, film screenings as part of the Week were also held at the Russian House in Beijing.
Moldova received a large batch of Russian books as a gift from the Russian House
In December 2021, the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Moldova handed over to the libraries of Gagauzia a large batch of new books - fiction, scientific, reference books and dictionaries. The action was held within the framework of the "Russian book as a gift" campaign. The handover ceremony took place in Comrat, in the Central Library of Gagauzia.

New Russian language center opened at the Russian House in Ulan Bator
A new Russian Language Center has been opened in the capital of Mongolia at laboratory school № 1. The opening ceremony was attended by teachers of the Russian language who worked at this school, including one of the most active teachers of Russian studies in Ulan Bator Tuula bagsha.
Monument to Dostoevsky unveiled in Italy
A monument to the great Russian writer and philosopher Fyodor Dostoevsky was unveiled in Florence in the city park of Kashin on December 14.
