On November 1, 2011 at the Presidential Library named after Boris N. Yeltsin within the framework of the International Forum "Dialogue: Russia - the Republic of Korea", the results of the II International Photo Contest "Foreign View", which was held from June 20 to September 12, 2011 of the year. The theme of the photo contest in 2011 is "The State of the 21st Century." Organizers selected more than two thousand photographs from 27 countries: Russia, Belarus, Ukraine, Britain, Mexico, China, Korea, Germany, Canada, Japan and other countries. Winners in the nominations People and Events, Borders and Spaces, State Symbols, Customs and Traditions, National Monuments, and Japan Through the Eyes of Russians were presented with awards. The names of the winners were announced by representatives of the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea and Germany, St. Petersburg State University, the Presidential Library and information partners of the photo contest - The St. Petersburg Times and the Russian Union of Tourist Industry. As a result of the competition, a traditional electronic exhibition was held in the library: on the plasma panels, photos of the winners of the "View of the Foreigner" 2011 contest were demonstrated. Separately, the exposition was presented with electronic photographs dedicated to the Republic of Korea and Koreans sent to the photo competition for two years.
