B. Shakhovsky's Astrakhan library for Youth announced a contest of audio clips featuring the poet's oeuvre. This campaign is marking the 125th anniversary of Sergei Yesenin. The contest was launched on March 20 and will run until April 6, 2020.

The event was timed to coincide with the 110th anniversary of the birth of the writer and poet Sergey Vladimirovich Mikhalkov, the author of many wonderful children’s poems.

The Russian Center of Science and Culture in Yerevan hosted the final New Year's events with the participation of students of the Russian language courses under the Teremok and Stupenki programs. Under the guidance of teachers Juliet Abrahamyan and Meline Mikaelyan, pupils of the courses aged 6 to 14 recited their favorite poems, sang songs and presented sketches.

May 15, 2018 marks the 220th anniversary of one of the leaders of the uprising on the Senatskaya Square on December 14, 1825, a member of the secret society "Union of Prosperity", a lyceum student of the first issue Ivan Ivanovich Pushchin. On June 1, the Children's Day, the Presidential Library's Poetry Club will host a virtual event called “Children's Poetry Day”. New Year's tree was organized in the premises of the Rossotrudnichestvo office in Madrid. Pupils of the educational center "Znayka" presented to the guests a performance of the poetic fairy tale "Koshkin Dom". Then the children read to Santa Claus the poem dedicated to the holiday. After the presentation the guests drove around the New Year tree and played snowballs. All the participants of the tree received a traditional New Year gift - their favorite sweets.
