Permanent gallery of Russian art from July this year will be open in the UK located in the south county (Hampshire) museum complex Beaulieu. The agreement was signed in London between the Foundation Art Russe and the owner of the popular tourist estate of Lord Montagu.

The numismatic collection of Elias Brenner (1647-1717) and Pavel Grigorievich Demidov (1738-1821)", dedicated to one of the most interesting and oldest parts of his numismatic collection - the Swedish numismatic collection, as well as its famous owners.

The Museum Center "Chambers" of the Vladimir-Suzdal Museum-Reserve until March 20, 2022 will run the exhibition "Castle in the Sudogodskie forests", dedicated to the art collection of the former owners of the Muromtsevo estate - noblemen Khrapovitsky. At present, the collections of the museum-reserve contain more than 250 items from the estate, which were received by the museum in 1920 and 1925.

This year marks several anniversaries: 225 years of the sovereign's accession and Gatchina's status as a city, 220 years of the tragic death of the emperor, as well as 170 years of the unveiling of the monument to Paul I in front of the Gatchina Palace.

Mail.ru launched the "Faces of Victory" project - a unified archive of war photographs with implemented face recognition technology. This is the first digital archive of the war materials in the world, that uses machine learning technologies. The project provides the opportunity of the war veterans' relatives to find veterans' photographs and contact the owners of the images. The project will become a part of the "Faces of Victory" National historical depository created by the Victory Museum.

Museums of Russia: The Church Pavilion of the Grand Menshikov Palace in Oranienbaum opened after restoration

On September 3, 2018 after the completion of the large-scale restoration work, the Peterhof State Museum Reserve opened the Church Pavilion of the Grand Menshikov Palace in Oranienbaum. The public now has a chance to visit the summer church, which keeps the restored carved gilded iconostasis and the winter church, which houses the museum exposition dedicated to the three century-long history of the palace church and its owners. The restoration works were launched in 2009.
