The virtual exhibition "Icebreaker Krassin - Hero of the Great Victory" presented in Warsaw

Marking the 75th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, in the Year of Memory and Glory, the Museum of the World Ocean, located in Kaliningrad, has prepared an interactive exhibition about the oldest ship of its flotilla - the icebreaker Krassin, the legendary ship of the Russian fleet. The exposition is available on the website of the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Warsaw.

Alexei Arkhipovich Leonov, twice Hero of the Soviet Union, a legendary man who took the first step into outer space, was born on 30 May 1934. The feat performed by the Soviet cosmonaut in 1965 is described in periodicals, books, fragments of newsreels and other materials presented in the collection of the Presidential Library Outer Space.

In the spotlight of the exhibition is the 170th anniversary of inauguration of Pavlovsk Music Station marked in the outgoing year, which became a legend in the history of Russian musical culture of the 19th century.

The authors of the portal Kultura.RF and experts of the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) have teamed up to work on joint materials on natural monuments of our country - from the Far Eastern Commander Islands to the Curonian Spit near the Baltic Sea. Within the project "Place on the map" the portal plans to release about 20 special materials telling about the flora, climatic and ecological features, secrets and legends associated with the natural attractions of the Russian Federation.

The Presidential Library presents on its portal in free access a documentary on the Bryansk region "Borderland". This is the first part of the film, the second - is being prepared for release. The author of the film, deputy director for science of the Bryansk State Museum of Local History Vladimir Alekseev, director Tatiana Dyakonova and cameraman Vladimir Yarosh presented the audience with a full historical story about Bryansk - this ancient land, covered with legends.

The village of Staraya Ladoga is located 130 kilometers east of St. Petersburg, in Leningrad Region, in the lower reaches of the Volkhov River. Until 1704 it had the status of a city called Ladoga. Ladoga was the first "window to Europe" for the Eastern Slavs, a key port city on the great waterways, including the famous from the Varangians to the Greeks. This city witnessed the birth of the Russian state.
