The Presidential Library’s collections reveal the origin of world musical masterpieces

October 1 marks the International Music Day, established on the initiative of the International Music Council of UNESCO in 1973. One of the ideological inspirers of this holiday was the Russian composer Dmitri Shostakovich. He wrote an open letter to the United Nations, in which he asked to create the Music Day and therefore spotlight the significant role of music in the unity of peoples and exchange of cultural experience.

Thanks to the new multimedia product, everyone can see the exposition, which is opened in the building on Senate Square from December 18, 2017 to February 25, 2018.
