Героиня портрета В. А. Серова, написанного в 1884 году — Людмила... Анатольевна, племянница Саввы Ивановича Мамонтова. Милуша — нежное имя, которым называли девочку друзья... семьи. Что-то в этой девочке привлекало художника, и Серов несколько раз возвращался к написанию...В Музее-заповеднике «Абрамцево» (Московская обл.) 15 апреля 2016 года открылась выставка «Милуша - девочка с портрета Серова».

The attitude of contemporaries towards Alexandra Feodorovna, the last Russian empress, was complex. Some people saw her as overbearing and arrogant, while others viewed her as shy and quiet. They laughed at the fact that only girls were born in the imperial family instead of an expected heir. Some sympathized and pitied Alexandra, while others accused her of having too much influence over Nicholas II.

July 8, 2021, at 11:00 Moscow time, the Presidential Library, as part of the Knowledge of Russia project, will host a video lecture entitled "Russian boys and girls of Dostoevsky: early philanthropists and abandoned youth". This is the sixth event in the series of lectures "Fyodor Dostoevsky – a Talk about Values", dedicated to the 200th anniversary of the birth of the world famous writer, which will be celebrated on November 11, 2021.
