Declaration of rights of working and exploited people adopted
16 January 1918
On January 3 (16), 1918, the All-Russian Central Executive Committee adopted the Declaration of Rights of Working and Exploited People - constitutional act of the Soviet Republic to legislate the achievements of the October revolution and proclaimed the basic principles and objectives of the socialist state.

The national libraries of Russia: the Presidential Library, the Russian State Library and the National Library of Russia have signed an agreement on cooperation. The Presidential Library hosted a cinema club meeting dedicated to the centenary anniversary of Mikhail Kalashnikov. The event was co-organized by the Military Historical Museum of Artillery, Engineers and Signal Corps. At the end of watching the film by Rasim Poloskin “Kalashnikov. A Man and an Assault Rifle”, the meeting participants, mainly cadets of military schools, talked about creating a unique “kalash” and a non-standard personality of its designer.
