The monument to Soviet pilots, who had died during the Spanish Civil War, was opened on December, 12 in the small town Santa Cruz de la Zarza (Spain).

In Toledo, at the Museum of Santa Cruz (Spain) on March 14, 2014 was opened an exhibition dedicated to the Spanish artist El Greco - "The Greek from Toledo". The exhibition is dedicated to the 400th anniversary of the death of the master, and promises to be the largest of all that has ever been organized: it features about a hundred paintings from museums and private collections in the world.
