A video lecture “First to love, then to teach” will be held in the Presidential Library as part of the “Knowledge of Russia” series on December 17, 2019 at 12:00. The event is held on the eve of two major anniversaries associated with the name of the famous St. Petersburg teacher Karl May (1820–1895): May 12, 2020 marks the 25th anniversary of the Karl May History Museum, and November 10 will mark the 200th anniversary of the creator himself and the first director of the educational institution.
