In memory of “Angel’s guardian”

“The Legendary Man” exposition, that has been opened in the Presidential Library in commemoration of 95th birthday of Mikhail Mikhailovich Bobrov, will become one of the memorials to this remarkable man. What is more, the film dedicated to Mikhail Mikhailovich is nearing the completion. The film will feature his interviews and materials of meetings at the Presidential Library, including the last recording made in Komarovo shortly before his birthday.

December 6 Russia celebrates the Memorial Day of the Holy Right-Believing Prince Alexander Nevsky (1220-1263), the patron saint of the Northern capital of Russia - a warrior whose name became a legend after victories in the Battle of the Neva and the Battle of the Ice. The large-scale collection Alexander Nevsky (1221-1263), available on the Presidential Library's portal, features rare studies by scientists and theologians, essays and visual materials dedicated to the Grand Prince.

From December 7 until December 21, 2020, the Presidential Library hosts a multimedia exhibition "Ethnoculture of the descendants residing in Trans-Baikal Region", dedicated to the 255th anniversary of the arrival of the first immigrants-Old Believers in Buryatia, as well as timed to the 400th anniversary of Archpriest Avvakum. The exhibition has been prepared by the National Library of the Republic of Buryatia - partner of the Presidential Library.

Angel’s Guardian. Mikhail Bobrov in the new film of the Presidential Library

The Presidential Library released the film “Mikhail Bobrov. Angel's Guardian”, devoted to life and professional activities of Mikhail Mikhailovich Bobrov, a Soviet and Russian military alpinist, military intelligence officer, master of sports of the USSR, honored trainer of Russia. The film will be live broadcasted on the library’s portal on January 30 at 19:00 and 21:00, and on January 31 at 6:00 and 8:00. It is also available on the library's website with the title “Audiovisual Materials”...
