Vibrant Russia was shown in Berlin

The Presidential Library offers foreign countries new ways of mutual cultural cooperation with Russia. This was announced at the “Photo View on Russia: From the origins to our days” round table, which recently connected St. Petersburg and Berlin. The event was held in the video bridge mode as part of official opening of the Exhibition of the first color photographs of the Russian Empire at the Russian House of Science and Culture in Berlin.

On January 14, 2020, the Birch bark Belt cluster project which is being implemented on the territory of the Valdai, Demyansk, Krestetsky and Marevsky districts of Novgorod Region was held. The idea of its creation was proposed during strategic sessions in the framework of the cluster strategy of socio-economic development of the region in the direction "Region - the center of national history and identity".

“Sobibor” film shown in London for the first time

The film “Sobibor”  directed by Konstantin Khabensky was shown in the capital of Great Britain for the first time. One hundred people came to the Russian Center of Science and Culture in London to watch the directorial debut of the famous actor. The film “Sobibor” starring Konstantin Khabensky and Christopher Lambert is about the revolt in Sobibor death camp in Poland.

New media contest of the Presidential Library will show a coloring of the North Caucasus

The “Caucasus.doc” media contest started in Cherkessk in early December. The competition is held with the support of the Presidential Library, the head and the government of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic. Work entries are accepted until April 12, 2018. The results will be announced on April 30, 2018.

Because of security and conservation concerns, manuscripts go on display once in a blue moon, also for just a few hours, the last time - more than a decade ago.
