Media Conversation "Letters from the Front" in the Tomsk Universal Scientific Library

Employees of the regional center of the Presidential Library, acting on the basis of the Pushkin Tomsk Regional Universal Scientific Library, held a series of outdoor events within the framework of the project "Letters from the Front".

Eight media discussions were prepared and conducted for the pupils of junior and middle classes of the gymnasium № 29. The pupils were told about the mail of wartime, held for them master classes on the production of front envelopes-triangles. Senior pupils watched documentary films containing newsreels of wartime.

During the events the poetry was heard, pupils told family stories about the exploits of their great-grandfathers.

The collection "Memory of the Great Victory", which includes official documents, photo and newsreels, wartime newspapers, books, propaganda publications, collections of articles, biographies, testimonies of participants in combat battles and workers in the rear, their personal documents, images of combat and labor awards, monuments and memorial complexes is presented on the Presidential Library portal.

The Tomsk region is represented by the collection "Tomsk Region: Pages of History" on the Presidential Library portal. The selection includes essays, statistical and cartographic materials, archival documents of the late XIX - early XX century, covering the demographic, geographic, socio-economic, socio-political and other aspects of the history of the Tomsk region. The current charter of the region is also presented.
