
The Russian Center of Science and Culture in Ankara hosted a presentation of the photo exhibition "The Altai Territory - Everything is Real"
On May 15 the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Ankara hosted the opening ceremony of the photo exhibition "The Altai Territory - Everything is Real" organized by the Altai Territory Administration for External Relations, Tourism and Health Resort Business together with the Ankara Association of Russian Culture with the support of the Rossotrudnichestvo and the Russian Embassy in Turkey.
Guests of the event were employees of the embassy and Trade Embassy of Russia in Turkey, representatives of creative intelligentsia, organizations of Russian compatriots, Turkish public.
Addressing the participants of the event, the chairman of the Ankara Association of Russian Culture Larisa Lutkova Türkkan told about the prehistory of the photo exhibition that captured the picturesque places of one of the most unique and self-sufficient regions of Russia - the Altai Territory.
"The features of the Altai Territory are diverse: there is developed agriculture and rich in mineral resources, picturesque places and space for tourism, great opportunities for creativity and kind, sympathetic residents, thanks to which the region develops year by year and gets better", - said the representative of the Office on external relations, tourism and resort business of the Altai Territory Government Elena Bazina.
With great interest the guests got familiar with the exposition "The Altai Territory - Everything is Real", they watched a presentation video telling about the history, peculiarities of natural and climatic conditions, uniqueness of the landscape, tourist and recreational zones of the Altai Territory.
On the portal of the Presidential Library everyone can get familiar with the electronic collection "Altai Territory: Pages of History". The proposed selection includes studies, essays, surveys and reports reflecting various aspects (geographic, socioeconomic, socio-political, etc.) of the history of the Altai Territory in the late XIX – the first third of the XX century.
