Spanish television reflected the work of the Fan House in the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Madrid

The TeleMadrid TV channel, with the participation of the Russian Embassy in Spain and the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Madrid, created a report "Locos por el Mundial", dedicated to the 2018 FIFA World Cup, held in Russia from June 14 to July 15.

Within the framework of the TV program "Mi cámara y yo" correspondents had a conversation with the ambassador of Russia Y. P. Korchagin and the head of the Rossotrudnichestvo office in Spain E. A. Sokolov.

During the visit to the Russian Center for Science and Culture, correspondents were shown a Fan House of RUSSIA 2018 opened within the walls of the representative office, told about the procedure for registering and getting a fan's passport (FAN ID), and they were introduced to the exhibition "Readiness № 1" focused on the preparation of the stadiums of the football championship.

The exhibition "Readiness № 1" is organized by Rossotrudnichestvo in partnership with the information agency and radio "Sputnik". The exposition clearly demonstrates the fantastic volume of Russia's work on the preparation, re-equipment, modernization and construction of all necessary infrastructure for the world championship in football. Photographers of "Sputnik" visited all the cities that would host the championship, and captured the stages of stadium preparation for this truly great event for Russia.

The Presidential Library portal features the collection "Sport in Russia". It presents official documents, archive materials, studies, educational literature, reference and visual materials, periodicals reflecting the history of the development of sport in our country. Particularly highlighted section is devoted to football. The creation of this section is timed to the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. It includes both historical and modern materials. In particular, the photographs depicting the construction of stadiums in Russian cities hosting matches of the world championship are widely represented.
