
The specialists of Penza libraries learned about the Presidential Library’s resources
On March 16, 2023 specialists of the Lermontov Penza Regional Library and the Penza Regional Center of the Presidential Library held a webinar for librarians of the Serdobsky, Nizhnelomovsky and Zemetchinsky districts.
The event participants learned about the Presidential Library’s portal and its content, mastered the navigation menu, learned more about the sections where audiovisual materials, virtual exhibitions and tours are available.
Specialists were told about such collections of the Presidential Library as State Authority, Russian People, Territory of Russia, Russian Language, Vladimir Mayakovsky (1893–1930), Leo Tolstoy (1828–1910), Ivan Turgenev (1818–1883) and others. In addition, the collections marking anniversaries and memorable dates of the current year were provided.
Special attention was paid to the resources that may be useful to teachers. Among them is the collection Educational editions. It was also noted that various multimedia lessons are posted on the website of the Presidential Library, which will be of interest to teachers of history and literature.
The Presidential Library’s portal features the collection Penza Region: Pages of History. It includes archival documents, essays, studies, statistical and other materials spotlighting various aspects of the development of the region in different historical periods.
