Literary and musical event dedicated to front-line writers held at Russian House in Baku

On the eve of the Victory Day celebration, a literary and musical evening dedicated to front-line writers was held at the Russian House in Baku. Irek Zinnurov, Head of the Russian Center of Science and Culture in Baku, welcomed the participants of the meeting.

During the event a piece of Eternal Flame was handed over by Russian grandmaster Sergei Karyakin to the head of the Yashlek Center of Tatar Youth of Azerbaijan, Diyaz Akhmedzhanov. This action was perfored as part of the patriotic campaign "Fire of Memory", implemented by the Russian public movement "NATIONAL FRONT "FOR RUSSIA".

The  remote access center to information resources of the Presidential Library, opened in 2011 and based on the Russian House in Baku, allows its guests to learn all the variety of collections of the electronic library holdings.

The collection Russian Language will be interesting for visitors of the Russian Center of Science and Culture. It includes more than 1,100 depository items of rare archival documents, including manuscripts, monuments of Russian writing, archival affairs, scientific works, dictionaries, reference books, textbooks and much more.

Guests of the Russian House in Baku can also read materials about the history of relations between Russia and Azerbaijan, which are presented in the Presidential Library's electronic collection Russia – Azerbaijan: the history of relations.
