The opportunities for studying the Russian language were presented by the Russian Cultural and Information Center in the framework of the European Day of Languages in Sofia

In the capital of Bulgaria, as part of the celebration of the European Day of Languages, the opportunities for studying more than 20 languages ​​of the world were presented. The embassies, cultural centers and institutions of European countries demonstrated the advantages of studying foreign languages ​​to all those who wishes.

The European Day of Languages ​​has been celebrated for 15 years, its goal is to maintain linguistic diversity, bilingualism of every European, development of the teaching of various languages ​​in the world and their study. The holiday was proclaimed by the Council of Europe with the support of the European Union.

The Russian cultural and information center in Sofia, together with partner organizations, presented the forms of studying Russian as a foreign language, available in Bulgaria.

The Russian language remains in demand in Bulgarian schools as the first or second foreign language, experts note in the last year an increase in interest from parents and children. In this connection, the forms of strengthening knowledge and development of speech skills are developing. In particular, visitors to the stand of the Russian language demonstrated the method of teaching the language to children through the puppet theater.

The Russian cultural and information center in Sofia features Russian language courses of any level of tenure for all comers from 5 years. In addition, the RKCC program and creative studios in the Sofia Russian House are organized in such a way as to provide an opportunity for language practice both for studying Russian as a foreign language and for children of Russian-speaking residents of the Bulgarian capital.

The Presidential Library portal features electronic collection "Russian language". The collection includes manuscripts and publications of monuments of Russian writing, archival affairs, scientific works (including dissertations and abstracts of dissertations), dictionaries and reference books, textbooks of various types and levels. The digital collection "Russian language" is of interest not only for the scientific and educational community and linguists, but also for a wide range of users who love and appreciate the Russian language.
