The state-of-the-art technologies help to gather information about any of website’s visitors, even if it was the first time the user browsed it. However it has largely to do with countries with a large number of Net surfers, in this sense Russia is still lagging behind.

More than four thousand passports of cultural heritage objects of the Moscow region is transferred into electronic form by “Electronic Archive” Corporation. The project was implemented within the framework of the state program of the Moscow region "Effective authority" for 2014-2018 years.

Information technology and society: The electronic identity card of the citizen of Russia – “e-passport” is presented

Minister of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation Nikolai Nikiforov together with the head of the Federal Migration Service (FMS) Konstantin Romodanovsky presented to the Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev the electronic identity card of the citizen of Russia ("e-passport") and demonstrated the process of its application in information and telecommunication environment.

The exhibition "Rachmaninov: Famous and Unknown" was opened in the Tambov Regional Library. The exposition features digitized music collections, documents, photographs and manuscripts. Some of them are presented for the first time, including passports of Sergei Rachmaninoff and articles from foreign newspapers.

Chairman of the Minister of Culture of Russia Elena Milovzorova held the second meeting of the expert group to create virtual museums within the framework of the Decree of the President of Russia and the state program “Information society (2011-2020)” during which were discussed the interim results of work on the creation of virtual museums and also there have been agreed guidelines for creating audio guides for virtual exposition and changes in indicators in passports of objects.
