The Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center in Moscow presents the exhibition "Sobibor: Defeated Death", dedicated to the uprising in the Nazi extermination camp Sobibor in 1943 and the organizer and leader of the uprising Alexander Pechersky. This was the only uprising in the death camps, which ended in the victory of the prisoners. The exhibition is timed to the International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of the Holocaust (celebrated on January 27).
