Numerous events dedicated to the history of space exploration, as well as tours of the Star Hall of the Lermontov Penza Regional Library can be called "Martian Chronicles". While the construction of the Penza planetarium is underway, the library has assumed the role of a scientific and educational institution where schoolchildren can gain basic knowledge of astronomy.

Exactly 80 years ago - January 14, 1942 - the immortal poem of the poet Konstantin Simonov Wait for me was first published on the pages of the Pravda newspaper. A digitized copy of this issue is presented in the collections of the Presidential Library and today is available to everyone from anywhere in the world.

History and Culture: Exhibition “The Romanovs. Family Chronicles” is launched in the Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow

As a part of “The Romanovs. Family Chronicles” exhibition the Tretyakov Gallery (Moscow, Krymsky Val) is presenting unique materials from the archives of the Russian Imperial family. The exhibition of photo documents from the gallery’s collections showcases a previously unknown collection of photographs. It features photographs, taken during the reign of three Russian Emperors — Alexander II, Alexander III and Nicholas II — the collection spanning the period from 1870s to 1914.
