April 21-26, 2020, Rostov-on-Don will become the online capital of the festival of literate communication which is the holiday of the Russian language and modern literature. The users from all over the world may participate in conferences featuring leading Russian linguists, reading aloud championships, contests, and quizzes. This year the event will be held online.

The CIS Council of Heads of State has declared the year 2018 the Year of Culture in the CIS countries (Commonwealth of Independent States).
