From June 29 to July 22 2018 the Museum of Moscow is holding a new exhibition «Moscow. The Evolution of a Guidebook». The exhibition illustrates the change of the image and the content of a guidebook through the centuries in the broadest sense of the word, maps and prints in the beginning and in the end - the 20th century reference books which remain helpful even today when you take a stroll around Moscow.
С 29 июня по 22 июля 2018 года в Музее Москвы на выставке «Москва. Эволюция путеводителя» можно... увидеть, как сквозь века менялся внешний вид и содержание путеводителя в самом широком смысле слова..., начиная от карт и гравюр и заканчивая справочниками XX века, которые и сейчас вполне пригодны... для прогулок по Москве.
В конце XVIII века появляется первый путеводитель по Москве. В это время город... недавнего времени в поездках в незнакомый город провожатых мог заменить путеводитель.

The country's main exhibition, VDNKh, has prepared a virtual guide dedicated to the restored sights. The guide is a map showing 16 points - pavilions, fountains and other restored objects of VDNKh. By clicking on any of them, the user will find photographs and detailed information.

May 24 is the Day of Slavic Writing and Culture, traditionally timed to the Day of Remembrance of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Cyril and Methodius - creators of the Old Slavonic alphabet, Christian preachers. Their lives are mentioned in the "Tale of Bygone Years by the Laurentian List" - the oldest chronicle of the Russian land, an electronic copy of which is represented on the portal of the Presidential Library.
