This year the Presidential Library will once again become a participant in the All-Russian Library Congress: the XXVI Annual Conference of the Russian Library Association which will open on May 15 in Nizhny Novgorod - the “Library Capital of Russia in 2022”. The theme of the congress is “Libraries and Cultural Diversity”. The event will be held in a face-to-face format with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation and the government of Nizhny Novgorod Region.

This is the key and largest event of the year in the library sector, which traditionally involves the Presidential Library. This year, the event will be held from June 10-17 in Murmansk - the "Library Capital of Russia in 2023". The topic of the congress is "Library - the Cultural Code of Russia".

On May 17, 2023 the Presidential Library hosted a presentation of Igor Morozov’s book The World Chess Game. Afghan Zugzwang. It was presented by the author himself - a well-known political scientist, chairman of the coordinating committee for economic cooperation with African countries - AFROCOM, a veteran of foreign intelligence, a specialist in the Middle East and Africa, from October 2017 to November 2022 - a senator of the Russian Federation.

The 11th International Military Music Festival Spasskaya Tower is opening today, on August 24 in Moscow and will run until September 2, 2018. The motto of the event is “Reviving traditions, preserving history”.
