History of Russia: Exhibition of the “Russian Historical Portrait” project in Moscow

On December 2 2010 at the State Historical Museum in Moscow was launched an exhibition “Russian portrait miniature. Private collection of Russian miniature of late 17th – 19th cc.” from the collection of the SEPHEROT Foundation. The collection has been unveiled for the first time and joins the museum’s major project “Russian Historical Portrait”.

Lately many artworks that were considered lost for decades have returned to the collection of Pavlovsk museum. In May 2015 the Pavlovsk State National Park and Museum received as a gift of the beautiful, Russian made, the XVIII century infant portrait of Grand Duke Paul Petrovich.

In the Astrakhan Kremlin was opened the updated exhibition "The guardhouse of the Astrakhan garrison. XIX century". The only remaining of the 13 actions of the Kremlin Russia, it is a garrison construction in 1807 in the classical style. To this day the guardhouse reached almost historically saved forms.
