The Presidential Library’s delegation takes part in the IX International Congress “The Library as a Cultural Phenomenon”, marking the 100th anniversary of the National Library of Belarus, and in the XXVI General Meeting of Members of the Library Assembly of Eurasia (LAE). The events are taking place in Minsk on September 15 and 16, 2022.
The Collection of Digitized Archival Documents, Film and Photo Materials “World War II in Archival Documents” available on the Presidential Library’s website has been entered with unique photographs, manuscripts and autographs of iconic military literary and musical works. Documents have been provided by the Russian State Archive of Literature and Art (RGALI) and cover the initial period of the Great Patriotic War (June 22, 1941 – November 19, 1942).
On November 11, 2022 at 10:00 the XII International Scientific and Practical Conference on Legal Regulation in the Electronic Environment “Law and Information: Issues of Theory and Practice” will take place in the Presidential Library (St. Petersburg, Senate Square, 3). Information partner of the event is the Legal Academy project.
Visitors have an opportunity to learn about the history of the establishment of the Presidential Library, fields and specifics of the institution’s work, explore materials of the electronic collections at the new permanent exhibition “The Presidential Library: History and Modernity” open at Senate Square, 3.
This year, Moscow, the capital of the Russian Federation and a global metropolis, celebrates its 875th anniversary. The first mention of Moscow is available in the annals of the XII century. Based on this, the date of its foundation was fixed - 1147. According to the established tradition, City Day is celebrated on the second weekend of the first autumn month, which falls on September 10-11 this year.
